Aon Center

Aon Center is in Chicago and was built in 1973 and is the third tallest skyscraper in Chicago with a height of 346 meters (1136 ft). The building has 83 floors and is used to office, parking garage, restaurant and retail.

   The architecture stile of this building is called international. The architect firm of this building is Edward Durell Stone and Perkins and will. The skyscraper had from the beginning another name which was Standard Oil Building, and changed named to Amoco Building year 1985 and finally the building changed named to Aon Center year 2001.

   In some holydays the building is lighting in different color from the top of the building depend on which day. The orange is used for the thanksgivings day, the pink to the National Breast Cancer Awareness Month and for the Christmas the red and green is used.

   The Aon Center is near a cool building like Two Prudential Plaza.

Skyskrapan har från början ett annat namn vilket var Standard Oil Building och ändrade sitt namn till Amoco Building år 1985 för att slutligen ändra namnet till Aon Center år 2001.

   För somliga helgdagar byggnaden lyser upp ifrån toppen av byggnaden i olika färger beroende på vilken dag. Den orangea används för tankgivande dagen, den rosa färgen är för Nationella bröst cancer uppvaknande månaden och röd och grön för julen.

   Aon Center ligger nära en häftig byggnad som kallas för Two Prudential Plaza.
